so many projects, only 2 hands to work with..

I finished Jason's beanie for him just in time for his trip, he likes it, thank goodness. I'm working on projects for twinny's kiddos now. Sadie's bolero is going to be so cute I must say. I will have to make one for Emma when she gets bigger. I need to finish up the beanies and get them and the bolero in the mail. They probably won't get there until after Christmas though. I would be done faster if I could sit around and knit all day and that is usually my plan but it just seems like something always comes up and I am busy all day, and when I do get to sit down with the knitting stuff, well its time to make dinner, or go to karate, or do bath and bedtime routine for the little man. Who knew being a stay at home mom could be so time consuming and actually mean less me time? How does that happen? ha ha. Oh well I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm afraid that I will not be seeing my knitting goods for quite some time once miss Emma makes her appearance. We shall see!

Busy busy... 'tis the season

Well Christmas is busy, making knit goodies for family and friends.. and my little one to keep him plenty warm this winter (which began in October for us).  I have made 4 bearded beanies since October and more to go, as well as ribbed beanies with large flowers for the girls. :) I am a little overwhelmed, I have to finish a beret for my mother for her birthday (the 19th) and wanted to finish at least 3 projects I have going for our unborn daughter (only 4 more weeks tops until she makes her appearance). Not to sound whinny but I have been just that this whole pregnancy haha, my poor husband, I just want to sit around and knit which is nice right? I feel tired all the time especially since I'm nearing the end, thank goodness! So knitting is a nice reprieve from doing housework (which needs to be done) and running around shopping (which also needs to be done) and preparing for the influx of family that will be showing up the second little miss Diva makes her appearance (again, needs to be done, just maybe not by me, hehehehe). I'm just gonna prop my feet up (more like kankles thanks to swelling) and delegate to my son and husband. Wicked I know..
